On Wednesday we were invited to the Wanaka Public Library to celebrate the wonderful books that have been selected for the NZ Post Book Awards. We had several stories read to us and really fun activities. The books were superb and we loved hearing them.
A huge thanks to the fabulous parents who supported us to make this visit happen.

    This is Sarah,Mrs Devries used to teach at my school!! I was really interested in your investigations in the NZ Post Book Awards. Mrs Simmers has been looking at them with us too, and some year fives did a book review in assembly. Mrs Simmers is currently reading 'Piono Rock'. It is really interesting, and we love hearing about a 1950's childhood. Hope you are enjoying your year, we miss you Mrs Devries!! From Sarah xxx
